How to prepare and brew Moringa Tea

Here’s a handy guide to getting the best from your purchase of Moringa Tea from us! Please do not take this as the rule of thumb, however it’s certainly a good starting point for a beginner. We appreciate that everyone is different and everyone enjoys doing things in their own individual way.Heat water and take a probe thermometer to ensure that the water temperature is at least 85-90°C. It’s best not to use boiling water since this can break down some of the nutritional content in the leaf material.

To serve enough for at least 2 full cups of tea, ensure that you use at least 300ml of water. You can always use your cups to measure the water volume as you add it to your kettle.

Depending on how strong you like it, use between 2-4 teaspoons per serving.

Make sure that you add the Moringa powder into the strainer section. Gently stir the mixture so that the water in the kettle begins to change to a green / brown hue.

Steep the water for around 2-3 minutes for the best taste. Like most teas, if left too long (beyond 10 mins for example) then the brew will take a more bitter quality.

You can add sugar or sweetener to taste.

Make sure the brew has cooled to a safe temperature before taking a drink

Sit back and enjoy your healthy, nutrient rich tea!

Did you know you can also cold brew and make milk lattes with Moringa powder?
